Steve holds the prestigious International Mountain Leader Award along with both the Summer and Winter Mountain Leader Awards. He is a distinguished member of BAIML and an adviser to Mountain Training UK&I.
With over forty years of extensive exploration and expedition leadership across six continents, Steve has ventured through diverse terrains, including mountains, jungles, deserts, and safaris, as well as water-based rafting and canoeing expeditions.
Steve works with individual clients and travel companies, taking adults and children on amazing adventures around the world. He has trained at and been assessed by Britain’s National Mountain Centres, renowned for their world-class instruction and coaching of outdoor professionals.
Steve is a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Accredited Expedition Assessor. He trains, supervises and assesses candidates on Bronze, Silver and Gold DofE Expeditions.
A Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician, Steve has been trained to provide extended pre-hospital care in remote and hostile environments. He has an enhanced DBS disclosure and his own public liability insurance.
